By subscribing to Reduce Token Costs, purchasing a subscription, or accessing ReduceTokenCosts.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. Read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not subscribe.

The SMS channel itself (message frequency, NEXT, BACK, STOP, and HELP behavior, phone number handling, and the rules the mobile carriers require) is governed by two separate documents that apply to every 2 Degree Shift SMS product:
By subscribing to Reduce Token Costs you agree to both these Terms and the SMS Program Terms. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the SMS Program Terms on any SMS-channel matter, the SMS Program Terms control.
2. What Reduce Token Costs is
Reduce Token Costs is a paid subscription that delivers up to one educational SMS per weekday to opted-in subscribers about reducing AI and token spend through daily prompting habits. Subscribers receive daily habit texts, worked examples, and a monthly reference PDF.
3. Eligibility
By subscribing, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind yourself or your company to these Terms, that you are the owner or authorized user of the phone number provided, and that you are 18 years of age or older (or have permission of a parent or legal guardian). Full eligibility rules for the SMS channel are in the SMS Program Terms.
4. Subscription and billing
Base subscription. Reduce Token Costs is billed annually at $50 per seat per year (or $40 per seat per year at the founding rate, locked for 24 months for the first 20 companies to subscribe). Company subscriptions are billed to the company; individual seats are assigned by the company to specific mobile phone numbers.
Free trial. A 10-day free trial is available at signup with no credit card required. On day 10, subscribers receive an explicit opt-in text to continue. Subscribers who do not opt in on day 10 are automatically unsubscribed with no charge.
Renewal. Subscriptions renew annually on the anniversary of subscription start. Fourteen days before renewal, we send a written notice by email so you have time to review and decide. Founding-rate subscribers are locked at the founding rate for 24 months from subscription start.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time by texting STOP from the subscribed phone number, or by emailing Connect@ReduceTokenCosts.com. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Unused portions of an annual subscription are refunded on a pro-rata basis if the cancellation is initiated within 30 days of the most recent renewal.
Payment failure. If a payment method fails and is not restored within 14 days, the subscription is suspended. Suspended subscriptions may be terminated after 30 days without further notice.
5. Content ownership and license
Our content. Daily habit texts, worked examples, monthly reference PDFs, and all other content delivered through Reduce Token Costs are owned by 2 Degree Shift. Subscribers receive a limited, non-transferable license to receive and use the content for internal purposes within their organization. Redistribution outside the subscribing organization is not permitted.
Your content. Any replies you send to Reduce Token Costs (including HELP conversations, feedback, and questions) may be used by us to improve the service. We do not publish reply content in a way that identifies individual subscribers.
6. Measurement and reporting
Reduce Token Costs measures cohort-level engagement patterns and reports these to the subscribing company in a monthly cohort readout. Reports do not identify individual subscribers by name. Any cost-savings numbers a subscribing company draws from the readout are directional and not audited.
7. Privacy
Three privacy layers apply to a Reduce Token Costs subscriber:
- This site’s Privacy Policy covers ReduceTokenCosts.com site visits and product-specific data.
- The SMS Program Privacy Policy covers phone number data and SMS content.
- Both are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Accessibility
Reduce Token Costs is designed to work on any phone that receives SMS, including screen-reader-compatible devices. Our full accessibility commitments are described in our Accessibility Statement.
9. Acceptable use of the product
You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute Reduce Token Costs content, and not to defraud the payment process or misrepresent your identity. Additional acceptable-use rules for the SMS reply channel are in the SMS Program Terms. We may terminate a subscription and refund any unused balance if we detect fraudulent activity.
10. Disclaimers
Reduce Token Costs is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific cost-savings outcome will result from subscribing. Any references to expected cost reductions on ReduceTokenCosts.com or in related documents are goals and projections, not guarantees.
We are not a substitute for AI tool procurement. We do not sell AI tool licenses (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or others). We shape how your team uses the AI tools you already have.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 2 Degree Shift’s total liability arising from or related to Reduce Token Costs shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate a subscription at any time under the cancellation terms in Section 4. We may also terminate immediately for material breach of these Terms or the SMS Program Terms. Sections that by their nature survive termination (including Sections 5, 10, 11, 13, and 14) survive.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or Reduce Token Costs shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Stanislaus County, California, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email to the subscribing company’s billing contact at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
