Reduce Token Costs A product of 2 Degree Shift, Effective date: July 21, 2026 Last updated: July 24, 2026

About this policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Reduce Token Costs collects when you visit ReduceTokenCosts.com, subscribe to our SMS content service, subscribe to the Executive Priority Track, or subscribe to the Helpdesk add-on. It covers how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Reduce Token Costs (“Reduce Token Costs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product operated by 2 Degree Shift, a California C Corporation.

Two privacy layers apply to a Reduce Token Costs subscriber. This Policy governs data collected on ReduceTokenCosts.com and product-specific handling (Executive Priority Track priority submissions and Helpdesk add-on question handling). The SMS Program Privacy Policy at TokenCosts.ai governs phone number data and the SMS channel for every 2 Degree Shift SMS product. Both apply to Reduce Token Costs subscribers.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service.

Information you give us directly

  • Mobile phone number. Required to deliver the SMS content you subscribe to.
  • Email address. Optional at sign-up for the base subscription. Required for billing and receipts, and required for delivery of the monthly Executive Priority Brief if you subscribe to the Executive Priority Track.
  • Payment information. Processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems. Stripe handles card data directly under PCI DSS Level 1 compliance.
  • Consent record. When you subscribe, we record the date, time, and IP address of your consent action so we can prove opt-in if a carrier or regulator asks.
  • Messages you send us. When you reply to our SMS messages (with HELP, a question, or any other text), we store your reply so we can respond to you and improve our content.
  • Executive Priority Track intake information. If you subscribe to the Executive Priority Track, we collect the information you provide on the intake form: your role, your organization name (optional), the P&L priorities you want the coaching to reflect, the metrics you care about, and any additional context you choose to share. This information shapes the personalized coaching messages we send to you.
  • Executive Priority Track brief preferences. Your preferred delivery format for the monthly Executive Priority Brief (Excel by default, alternative formats available on request), and any alternative-format accessibility requests you make.

Information we collect automatically

  • Website analytics. When you visit ReduceTokenCosts.com we collect standard web-analytics data: pages viewed, referring site, browser type, approximate location (city level, from IP address), and time on page. We use this to understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • Cookies. Our site uses a small number of cookies for essential functions (keeping you logged in, remembering your preferences) and for analytics. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

Information we do not collect

  • We do not use tracking pixels from advertising networks.
  • We do not build behavioral profiles for advertising.
  • We do not collect precise location data (GPS coordinates).
  • We do not collect health, financial account, or other sensitive personal information beyond what is described above.
  • We do not access your organization’s financial systems, accounting software, or spend data. The Executive Priority Track shapes coaching around the priorities you tell us about. We do not read your books.

How we use your information

  • To deliver the SMS content you have subscribed to.
  • To respond to replies you send us, including HELP requests, questions, and unsubscribe requests.
  • To send transactional messages about your subscription (welcome, billing notifications, service changes).
  • To process your subscription payment and send you receipts.
  • To improve our content based on which topics generate the most questions and engagement.
  • To personalize the Executive Priority Track SMS coaching for subscribers who provide intake information, so the messages reflect the P&L priorities and metrics you asked us to focus on.
  • To produce and deliver the monthly Executive Priority Brief to Executive Priority Track subscribers.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the reply channel.
  • We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your information.

Executive Priority Track: additional information handling

The Executive Priority Track is an optional add-on for finance leaders who want SMS coaching shaped around their P&L priorities. If you subscribe to this track, the following additional handling applies.

  • Intake information stays with your subscription. The role, priorities, and metrics you submit on the intake form are used solely to shape your personalized coaching messages and monthly brief. This information is not shared with any third party except the subprocessors listed below, and only for the purposes of delivering the service.
  • Personalized SMS content is written for you. Each personalized message is drafted by our team and reviewed for accuracy and accessibility before it is sent. Message drafts and human review notes are retained for 3 years for quality and audit purposes, then deleted.
  • Monthly Executive Priority Brief. The brief is an Excel file generated from your intake information and from public benchmarks. It is delivered by email (or by alternative format on request) on a schedule you set. We retain copies of past briefs for as long as your subscription is active plus 3 years after cancellation, so we can send you a replacement copy if you need one.
  • Accessibility requests. If you request the monthly brief in an alternative format (accessible PDF, plain text, Google Sheets), we retain the format preference alongside your subscription record and use it for every future brief until you tell us otherwise.
  • No aggregation without permission. We do not aggregate intake information across subscribers into any product, report, or dataset without individual permission. Your priorities are yours.

SMS Messaging and Phone Number Data

SMS phone number data and SMS channel handling for Reduce Token Costs are governed by the SMS Program Privacy Policy operated by 2 Degree Shift at TokenCosts.ai. That policy applies to every 2 Degree Shift SMS product and covers a single sending identity across Cut Token Costs, Reduce Token Costs, and Tokens Helpdesk.

The following language from the SMS Program Privacy Policy applies specifically to Reduce Token Costs subscribers and is repeated here for clarity:

When you subscribe to Reduce Token Costs, we collect your mobile phone number and (optionally, for the base subscription) your email address. We use your phone number solely to deliver the SMS content you have subscribed to receive, to respond to replies you send (including HELP requests and unsubscribe requests), and to send transactional messages related to your subscription (billing notifications, service changes).

Executive Priority Track subscribers receive personalized SMS coaching in addition to the standard subscription messages. Helpdesk add-on subscribers receive human-reviewed replies to questions their team texts to a designated Helpdesk keyword. The phone number data handling is the same for both add-ons. We do not use the number for any purpose beyond delivering the service.

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise transfer your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in status to any third party for their marketing purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subprocessors is permitted only for the following purposes: providing the SMS service itself (our messaging provider, Twilio Inc.) and processing subscription payments (Stripe, Inc.). These subprocessors are contractually prohibited from using your phone number for any purpose other than delivering the service on our behalf.

You may cancel the SMS service at any time by texting “STOP” to the number from which you receive messages. After you send “STOP,” we will send you a confirmation message and will not send you additional messages unless you resubscribe. If you need support, text “HELP” to the same number, or contact us at Connect@ReduceTokenCosts.com. Carrier and data rates may apply to messages we send you or that you send us.

We retain phone numbers of unsubscribed users solely to prevent accidental re-messaging. We do not use unsubscribed numbers for any other purpose. You may request full deletion of your phone number from our records by emailing Connect@ReduceTokenCosts.com. We will complete the deletion within 30 days.

For the full SMS Program terms including cross-product handling, subprocessor list, and retention practices, read the SMS Program Privacy Policy.

Who we share your information with

We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only for the purposes described.

  • Service providers acting on our behalf. Twilio Inc. (SMS delivery) and Stripe, Inc. (subscription billing and payment processing). We may also use a web analytics provider for site improvement, and an email delivery provider for transactional emails and the monthly Executive Priority Brief. Each of these subprocessors is contractually required to use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
  • Business transfers. If 2 Degree Shift is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe from email. Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send.

  • Access, correction, deletion. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of your information. This includes intake information you provided to the Executive Priority Track. Email Connect@ReduceTokenCosts.com. We will respond within 30 days.

To exercise any of these rights, email Connect@ReduceTokenCosts.com. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and respond substantively within 7 days, as required by GDPR Article 12.
